QuickIP 3.2 for Windows 95 - by Giulio Caldani
==============================================
This is a simple program to show your IP address as soon as possible into the
Taskbar Notification Area. I've used direct Winsock calls for Lan connections
and RAS calls for Dialup connections.
An animated icon shows you when the connection is active.
User configurable alarm.
Log File to trace connections.
New feature is to quickly dial a RAS connection. You can choose the double-click
action to make connections and disconnections.
TIP: if you move your mouse over the Copyright string you'll see a rounded form.

I don't know if it is useful or not, but enjoy it!

Installation
============
Simply create a directory and unzip the files into.
Add a shortcut into the StartUp menu to execute QuickIP at boot time.

History
=======
1.0: Only Lan connection. No animated icon. Never released before.
2.0: Added RAS connection, Animated icon.
2.1: Eliminated the TTrayIcon Component from Stamina Software (sorry) and
       implemented directly the icon into the Taskbar Notification Area.
       This seems to be necessary to avoid the EViolation error that sometimes appeared
       on the previous version. I've tested it now on 10 different Win 95 installation...
       Added the menu 'Copy IP' to copy IP Address into the clipboard.
       There is also the ability to choose the double click action.
       On Win NT4 there are problems with registry and so, at this moment, i prefer to declare
       this software only for Windows 95.
3.0: Eliminated another bug on LAN connection.
       Added an user configurable alarm.
3.1: Fixed a bug on Alarm setting. Now you don't need to reload the program.
       Added a Log File stored into the quickip directory to trace connections.
3.2: Fixed some small bugs. Now I use the Recycle bin to delete the Log file.
	 Added the RAS dial capability, to connect and disconnect with a double-click
       (user configurable).

Limits
======
The program doesn't work on gateways. If your machine has more than one Lan card
or concurrent RAS connections, only the first of them are reported (and maybe the
result can be undefined).

If you find any bug, please report to me sending an Email to the following address:
                                gcaldani@mbx.idn.it
